Biography

H.E. Dr. Hani Bin Mohammed Aburas holds a PHD in Industrial Engineering from the Mid-Florida University. His numerous roles as Mayor of Jeddah include; setting goals for the accomplishment of Jeddah’s expectations through the Municipality by establishing policies and provision of municipal services, communication and ensuring such services to reach citizens. Dr. Hani is also responsible for setting plans and policies for developing city infrastructure which covers transportation, gardens and parks, buildings, uses of lands, services, economic development for disorganised regions and areas, in addition to cultural and environmental development of Jeddah City in general.
